Joel Thomas may not be a household name, even among internet marketers,
but Joel has been using the internet as a marketing device for longer than
most. Joel began his internet career by creating a website for his church
in 1993 - one of the first 50 churches in the entire U.S. to have a website
at that time. Joel learned the nitty gritty aspects of internet protocol
and html coding on that project and dug in to learn as much as possible.
Hooked on the the online experience and certain that it was going to be mainstream within a decade, Joel began leveraging his knowledge to build quiet little money-making websites. He used his programming knowledge to create a software game and successfully marketed it online under the shareware model. Within 4 years he had sold 4000 copies and generated just under $100,000 in sales. At that time, a national company offered to package the game and market it through retail channels. Within months the game was being sold in WalMart and computer stores across America. Before the novelty wore off, the game had sold over 400,000 units and generated over $4 million in sales.
Although a good programmer, Joel wasn't a great businessman at that time and he only saw a small fraction of that money. Since then, Joel has expanded his horizons and learned all kinds of web programming languages and internet marketing skills.
Since 2002 he has quietly made a comfortable extra income by selling other people's products as an affiliate marketer. He has won and lost battles for niche dominance and seen other niches boom and bust in popularity.
Joel has witnessed first hand the evolution of Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and pay-per-click advertising. Joel is the proverbial jack of all trades, master of none, and has interests in all kinds of niche markets. This makes him an expert at marketing to crowds that are not in the "make money" genre, and is why he is not as well known in those circles.
If you want down-to-earth, honest evaluation of online products, services and programs, Joel is there to help. If you have a question about any product that is reviewed on this site or any other course or product, Joel would be happy to hear from you.
